North Korea has sent dozens of powerful rocket artillery systems to Russia for the first time, according to a Ukrainian official, a development that one expert said could provide a significant advantage to Russia on the battlefield. In a Telegram post on Friday, Ukrainian official Andrii Kovalenko said the DPRK has transferred the M-1991 240mm multiple launch rocket systems (MLRs) as part of a shipment of hundreds of units of military equipment, citing the Kyiv’s defense intelligence service.
