A vessel whose former ownership includes two companies sanctioned by the UN for coal smuggling has changed to new administrators and continues to deliver coal to South Korea, NK Pro analysis shows.

The Togo-flagged Lucky Star also exhibited odd behavior near South Korea’s Busan port in recent days, apparently switching off its Automatic Identification System (AIS) tracking equipment in the vicinity of one of the world’s busiest ports.

The ship had been loitering near the South Korean port for several days, though disappeared from international tracking systems for seven hours early on Wednesday
