The U.S. Department of Treasury added to and updated its North Korea blacklist yesterday, designating a shipping company, its assets and numerous individuals over their roles in facilitating the DPRK’s weapons programs.

The Singapore-based Senat Shipping Company was added to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) list for its supportive role in the 2013 Panama Canal weapons smuggling case.

According to the Treasury Department, the company played a significant role in supporting the previously sanctioned, Pyongyang-based Ocean Maritime Management (OMM).
