News Three sanctioned ships head out of North Korean watersTwo of the vessels with DPRK flags sailed close to China, though no indication they stopped at ports Three sanctioned North Korean vessels appeared out of North Korean waters over the last week, with one of the ships heading south away from the Korean Peninsula before disappearing off tracking systems. In March the UN released a list of sanctioned vessels as part of Resolution 2270. The majority of the blacklisted vessels have kept a low profile, with only infrequent positional broadcasts indicating the ships were sticking close to the DPRK’s coast.
