North Korea is aiming to finish work on a third power station at its hydro facility at Mount Paekdu by the Seventh Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea in May,  a recent article from the Pyongyang Times claims.

Earlier in the year DPRK media reported that work on the other two power stations at the  Paekdusan Youth Hero hydro project was complete. North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un gave a speech at the inauguration ceremony, though the reports are ambiguous on if the plants have been fired up.

The long standing construction project was
