The new North Korean tourist zone at Sinuiju cost 50 million Yuan ($7 million) and was paid for by the Dandong China International Travel Service, according to recent reports from Chinese and South Korean media.

The new zone was officially unveiled on December 20, and is set to open to Chinese visitors soon. The Dandong China International Travel Service’s website currently lists tours to new zone, pricing them at 790 Yuan ($121).
