News Sanctioned North Korean ship returns to Chinese bulk portVessel and its owner are both sanctioned by the U.S. A North Korean cargo ship returned to Chinese port capable of handling sanctioned bulk cargos earlier this week, the NK Pro ship tracker shows. Ships sailing under the DPRK’s colors in foreign ports are a relatively uncommon sight when compared to previous years, though the U.S. sanctioned Rung Ra 1 periodically visits Chinese shores. The general cargo ship which is now called the Chol Bong San arrived at Lianyungang port on China’s eastern coast on Monday, appearing to arrive at an area of the port where bulk cargoes are stored.
