Russia continued to supply oil products to North Korea in December and January, figures from the ITC Trade Map show, with shipments increasing over those seen in previous months.

Even as China appeared to stop reporting its own fuel shipments to the DPRK, Russia’s own exports of fuels such as gasoline and diesel nearly doubled from just USD$238,000 October to over USD$500,000 in January.

Including other oil derivatives, the total rises further to just over USD$800,000 in the first month of the year, though more recent figures were not available.

While the
