News Russia continued gasoline shipments to North Korea in March: UNCombined with Chinese shipments, exports are the highest since UN began tracking them in October Russia sent over 1800 tonnes of oil products to North Korea in March, according to a recent update by the 1718 Committee tasked with monitoring oil shipments to the DPRK. Previously, the 1718 Committee’s website only showed March exports for China, even though a previous NK News article suggested Russia’s trade figures still included oil product exports to the DPRK. The updated information means that, in total, the DPRK received 4336 tonnes of oil products from China and Russia combined – the highest value since the UN began tracking the shipments in October last year.
