According to a spokesperson for South Korea’s National Police Agency, North Korean hacking syndicate Kimsuky sent meticulously crafted emails to at least 892 experts between April and October. Hackers routed the attacks through hundreds of servers across more than two dozen countries to obfuscate their origin, which police say was actually servers historically linked to Kimsuky.
