North Korea has revealed internal designators for several short-range missile systems for the first time, NK Pro analysis of state media shows, as part of a report on the new Hwasan-31 nuclear warhead module designed to fit on the weapons. 

The images suggest most of North Korea’s solid-fuel short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) tested in recent years are officially considered Hwasong-11 variants, with separate suffix letters tacked on at the end. Newly revealed names appear to include the Hwasong-11S and Hwasong-11Ra.
