North Korean media has revealed the position of a ship that appears to have been traveling without its AIS transmitting equipment switched on.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Thursday published a story detailing foreign crewmen visiting North Korea’s Chongjin port.

“There took place a remembrance meeting at Chongjin Port on Thursday to observe the 5th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il,” the article reads. “Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of the Tanzania-flagged ship Everbright.”
