News North Korea launches construction project near oil terminalShipping container dock further east also upgraded this year North Korea has begun a construction project near its primary oil terminal in Nampho, satellite images taken in August and released last week show. The facility near the DPRK’s western coast is the eventual destination for many of the DPRK’s imported oil products. The satellite photos show a relatively large construction project has begun just to the North of the terminal. The work began at some point between October 2015 and February 2016, with the most recent images showing eight new circular structures measuring nearly 20 meters across.
