The DPRK added or renovated a total of 314 miles (505 km) of fencing along its east and west coasts, while also constructing 350 new guard posts, satellite imagery shows. The new construction brings the total length of North Korea’s coastal fences to 983 miles (1,582 km), meaning nearly the entire coastline is now fenced off.
