News North Korean cargo ship returns to Chinese bulk portThe trip is the vessel's second to the same area since June A North Korean cargo ship returned to a Chinese bulk handling facility last week, following a relatively quiet period when few DPRK owned ships were seen outside of Dalian. The 6200-tonne bulk carrier called the Jin Hung 8 began broadcasting its Automatic Identification System (AIS) location near the Chinese port of Longkou, though its point of origin was not recorded by tracking systems. Satellite imagery indicates the Jin Hung 8 stopped at a berth capable of handling bulk cargos like coal, with spoils of black material visible in the most recent Google Earth photo of the area © Korea Risk Group.
