North Korea on October 29 signaled a renewed resolve to follow through on its denuclearization talks policy by informing the domestic populace for the first observed time that it will not engage in denuclearization talks with the U.S. unless the latter withdraws its “hostile policy.”
This echoed language from previous Foreign Ministry pronouncements that were released for external audiences only, in the lead-up to and following the DPRK-U.S. working-level talks in Sweden.
