The restricted complex of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) in central Pyongyang has seen major construction in the last year, Google Earth satellite imagery has revealed, including the addition of several new large buildings.

The updated imagery from April 19 also shows upgrades have been made to the WPK Central Committee (CC) headquarters building, and that a group of buildings adjacent to the Grand People’s Study House have been demolished.
