The North Korean regime is meticulously controlling its information releases to magnify their effects and minimize security disclosures. Every image, video, and statement is carefully vetted to deny Western observers any crumble of information that might tarnish the regime’s prestige. And what does get released is intended only to support Pyongyang’s official worldview, doctrine, and statements.
It usually takes 24 hours, and sometimes longer, for North Korea to release visuals from their missile tests. This is the time required to censor and manipulate the information for maximum effect.
