The unit is called the “Party Central Committee Office 6 Bodyguard Company (당중앙위원회 6처 친위중대)” and was formed on Oct. 20, 2022, according to NK Pro analysis of state media coverage of last week’s Korean People’s Army (KPA) anniversary military parade.
