An August 2018-dated photograph obtained by NK Pro shows a relatively large oil tanker truck on the Chinese side of the DPRK’s northeastern border.

The photograph taken near one of the Tumen river crossings to the north of the DPRK’s Rason Special Economic Zone appears to show the tanker returning from North Korea.

The image shows the tanker truck’s Chinese license plate, and also bears Chinese lettering along its length.

“This truck looks like it might have a capacity on the order of 30,000 to 40,000 liters, which, if full, would be
