News Gas prices in Pyongyang rise again, NK Pro data showsIncreases possibly caused by increase in late September mainland China rates Gas prices paid by foreigners living in the North Korean capital recently rose for the first time since December 2017, data from the NK Pro Pyongyang Pump Price tracker showed this week. A liter of diesel now costs 1.5 euros – a rise of nearly 12.76% from the prior figure of 1.32 euros – while petrol rose from 1.1 to 1.21 euros a liter, about 9.5% more. The increase, confirmed this week by a second source in Pyongyang, means that the popular 15 kg coupon for diesel costs 25.50 euros, while a 15 kg petrol coupon is now priced at 23.25 euros.
