Tay Jeong is a sociologist with a particular research interest in political sociology, sociology of knowledge and peace studies. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at McGill University in 2023 and is currently a visiting scholar at Kangwon Institute for Unification Studies in South Korea. He is a recipient of Joseph-Armand-Bombardier Canada Graduate Fellowship and winner of Global Affairs Canada-The Simons Foundation Canada Graduate Awards for Disarmament, Arms Control and Non-proliferation.
