News Chinese oil product exports to North Korea fall in JulyMoscow's figures for June and July still not available on UN's website Chinese refined oil product exports to North Korea fell by a third in July compared with the previous month, figures provided to UN show, though Moscow’s figures for both months are still not available. Countries exporting refined oil to the DPRK have to notify the UN’s 1718 committee of the transfers, which are then updated on a public website. There is no oil embargo on North Korea, though member states’ exports must be within certain quotas which currently stand at 500,000 barrels of refined products per annum for the next two years.
