China ceased all exports of gasoline and diesel to North Korea in October, recently released figures from Beijing’s customs administration show, apparently going beyond the scope of UN resolutions governing the sale of fuel products to the DPRK.

North Korean imports of both fuel products have dwindled in recent months, though the October figures represent new lows, with China only shipping miscellaneous oil derivates like lubricants to the DPRK.
