POP FOR THE PEOPLE

The cabinet daily Minju Joson on Tuesday reported that three new songs that debuted at the New Year’s concert resonated deeply with people, inspiring strong emotions and patriotic feelings. 

“We Are Koreans,” “The Homeland and My Destiny” and “Love Forever”  strengthen national identity, confidence and optimism, according to the newspaper. 

“We Are Koreans” is receiving particular attention thanks to its strong message about national strength and unity.

Last Friday’s Rodong Sinmun also reported that the new songs are garnering strong reactions nationwide. Officials across different
