Fabric, human hair and wigs once again dominated North Korea’s trade with China in June, NK Pro analysis of trade data shows, underscoring that Beijing continues to outsource production to the DPRK.

Fabric topped the DPRK’s imports from its largest trade partner last month at $16.6 million, but fell from $21.2 million in May and $17.9 million the month before, according to data from China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC).

Human hair was the second-largest import in June at $10.8 million, but also declined from $13.4 million in May.
