Pyongyang’s cryptocurrency heists were on average 10 times as damaging as virtual currency thefts committed by non-North Korean threat groups, TRM Labs said in a report Friday. Among the major heists attributed to North Korean cybercriminals was a theft of some $100 million from virtual wallet service Atomic Wallet and a combined $100 million from payment platforms AlphaPo and CoinsPaid.
