North Korean websites went offline for over an hour on Monday, NK Pro has confirmed, in what one expert identified as a possible attack on the country’s weak internet infrastructure.

An initial outage around 11:42 a.m. KST took some DPRK websites offline for half an hour, followed by a “total internet outage” that affected web servers as well as email servers for around 40 minutes, cybersecurity researcher Junade Ali told NK Pro.
