A wide range of sanctioned products have been available for purchase at stores in the North Korean capital this year, exclusive photos obtained by NK Pro show, despite strict pandemic border controls in place since early 2020.

The photos taken earlier this year show luxury alcohol products on offer at multiple locations in Pyongyang, as well as foreign fashion and cosmetic brands and high-tech and industrial Chinese goods at a high-end department store.
