International nonprofit Global Fishing Watch (GFW) applied artificial intelligence to identify movements in North Korea’s EEZ consistent with fishing, and NK Pro analysis of the GFW data found that at least 94 Chinese-flagged fishing vessels entered North Korea’s EEZ between July 31 and Nov. 24, mostly in the west and southwestern waters.
