North Korea showed off its newest weapons at the “Defense Development Exhibition ‘Self-Defense-2021’” on Monday, revealing new details in state media about recently tested missile systems and emphasizing leader Kim Jong Un’s apparent military prowess. 

On display was the country’s largest untested intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), known unofficially as the Hwasong-16. Pyongyang also set up what appeared to be versions of four new weapons all tested last month: a long-range cruise missile, a train-launched ballistic missile system, a “hypersonic” missile and a surface-to-air missile.
