Official Russian trade with North Korea continued to sit at near-zero values in February, with just $124 worth of DPRK exports crossing into Russia in Feb. 2021, according to new data from Russia’s Federal Customs Service.
The data — which does not account for any smuggling, unofficial or illegal trade — also showed that North Korea did not accept any Russian exports that month. In total, North Korea exported less than $45 worth of vulcanized rubber products and $79 of other acrylic polymers to Russia in February — a 98% drop in export values year-over-year.
