An Italian consulting firm received its second extension to a previously-approved U.N. sanctions exemption for its work in North Korea this week, underscoring aid groups’ ongoing struggle to bring items into the country. 

Agrotec SPA first submitted their request for the current project in Oct. 2018, but waited eight months for approval due to strict U.S. sanctions enforcement policies.
