On Sunday, North Korean media reported on a meeting of the ruling party’s Central Military Commission (CMC) led by Kim Jong Un. This meeting ended another three-week absence by the leader and, according to the Donga Ilbo, U.S. intelligence had already spotted his car and train in Kangdong County, a suburban district of Pyongyang. Kim Jong Un appears to have traveled there from Wonsan specifically to guide the meeting.
