The Eugene Bell Foundation (EBF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are the latest to receive UN sanctions exemptions for humanitarian work in North Korea, according to updates from a UN committee website on Thursday.

With the exemptions, the EBF will continue their work to diagnose and treat tuberculosis (TB) patients in North Korea, while the WHO will be able to import a number of otherwise sanctioned diagnostic equipment to improve telemedicine in the DPRK.
