Russian oil exports to North Korea fell by more than 36 percent in October, down to a monthly total of 1,355 tons, according to new data made public by the UN.

The October total is about two-thirds lower than the same month last year — down more than 64 percent from October 2018, according to the UN numbers.

The data, published by the UN Security Council (UNSC) 1718 Committee, which oversees the UN’s North Korea sanctions enforcement, show that Russia continued to help supply the DPRK with the essential fuel source at least through the middle of the fall season
