A previous NK Pro report noted how the North’s imports of Chinese made tobacco products spiked sharply last year, with levels also remaining high throughout the first half of 2019. Data from June compiled by the ITC trade map showed that imports increased over May counterparts, rising from $7.1 million to $8.1 million in value.
