News North Korea’s cereal imports fell to zero in February: ITCPossible seasonal dip came ahead of visit by UN food security assessment team Chinese exports of cereals to North Korea fell to zero in February, one month before a UN team arrived in the country to conduct an assessment of food security in the DPRK. According to Chinese trade statistics compiled by the ITC trade map, North Korean imports of an agricultural category which includes both rice and maize fell to zero in the second month of the year.
