Beijing did not publish its monthly trade figures with any country broken down by product for nine months last year, but the recent update shows that trade in some restricted and sanctioned items continued. The numbers indicate that China continued to import sanctioned DPRK iron and steel products, stone, textiles, and machinery, despite international restrictions contained in various UN resolutions.
