A North Korean oil tanker left Russian waters earlier this week apparently without docking at any ports, the second time the ship has visited the area and seemingly left empty handed since October.

The NK Pro ship tracker showed the DPRK-flagged Ma Du San loitering near a facility in the Russian Far Eastern city of Vladivostok for most of November, before heading back towards North Korean waters on Monday.

As with its previous October visit, the North Korean oil tanker did not report any visits to any ports via its Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponder
