News Chinese trade with North Korea remains steady in SeptemberFigures still indicate a large DPRK trade deficit North Korean trade with neighboring China remained constant in September when compared to the previous month, the most recent figures from Beijing’s customs agency show. Although China no longer publishes detailed breakdowns of its imports and exports, the country’s General Administration of Customs (GAC) continues to update overall trade values by country. The September numbers continue to show a large disparity between shipments to the DPRK and those crossing over the North Korean border into China.
