News Vessel linked to North Korea’s coal and arms smugglers arrives in South KoreaShip operated by company that shares address with OFAC-designated coal smuggler A vessel operated by a company with links to North Korea’s weapons smugglers arrived in South Korea over the weekend and remained in port as of Wednesday morning local time. The NK Pro ship tracker shows the Togolese-flagged Xiang Jin arrived in the southern part of Busan port on Sunday, having traveled from a Chinese port near Shanghai. Although the ship and its owners are not sanctioned, the Xiang Jin is managed by Aoyang International, a company which was embedded in one of North Korea’s China-based sanctions evasion networks.
