A second North Korean ship returned to a Chinese cargo terminal capable of handling sanctioned commodities on Wednesday, marking the second visit of its type in ten days.

The 3600-tonne, DPRK-flagged Min Hung arrived at Lianyun port on China’s eastern coast and remained for around 12 hours before departing in the direction of the DPRK.

The trip mirrored an earlier visit by the same vessel in May, which saw the Min Hung arrive at a section of the port which seems capable of handling various bulk materials, including coal.
