News EXCLUSIVE: U.S. proposes new North Korea designations at the UNProposed designations closely resemble U.S. Treasury's February 23 measures The United States has proposed that the UN Security Council’s 1718 Committee add new North Korea-related designations covering one individual, 21 entities, and 27 ships, a document obtained by NK Pro shows. Of the 21 entities proposed for designation, the vast majority are based in the DPRK, but the U.S. is also proposing that three entities from Hong Kong, two from China, and one each from Panama, Samoa, the Marshall Islands, and Singapore also be designated.
