Brochures obtained by NK Pro suggest a link between DPRK banks and the government’s information and technology authorities, as well as stated connections to foreign countries and offers for non-North Korean clients.

Pamphlets for the Civil Cooperative Bank, the Jinmyong Joint Bank and the First Credit Bank (known in Korean as Jeil Shinyong Bank) showed that all three are located in Pyongyang Information Technology Bureau in the Pothonggang district, along with multiple other banks.
