News Chinese oil to North Korea falls again in MayBut continuing shipments not indicative of a supply prohibition North Korean imports of Chinese fuel products dropped in May, though remained at similar levels to those during the same period last year, data from China’s customs administration compiled by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) shows. While imports of gasoline and diesel were lower than in previous months, shipments from China often fall after the first quarter. In 2016 for example, DPRK imports of Chinese diesel were zero in both June and August.
