Evergreen China continues importing sanctioned North Korean commodities in 2017Zinc, copper and silver imports down on December statistics, while iron imports increase China continues to import North Korean commodities in 2017 that are subject to UN Security Council (UNSC) sanctions, Korea International Trade Association (KITA) data from January shows. UNSC Resolution 2321, the latest to be passed by the body in September last year, banned member states from importing copper, nickel, silver and zinc from North Korea, either directly or indirectly.
