Satellite imagery dated January 30 and obtained exclusively by NK Pro shows that around 50 new buildings along Pyongyang’s Ryomyong Street are close to being completed.

This is in line with state media reports on downtown construction developments, which are scheduled to be completed on April 15 – Kim Il Sung’s birthday – only seven weeks away.

In addition to the marquee development project, three further buildings within the grounds of North Korea’s elite Kim Il Sung University grounds are also close to completion.
