Korean cargo ship arrives at Chinese coal terminalThe small cargo ship has a North Korean flag and is operated by a Pyongyang based company A North Korean cargo ship arrived at what appears to be a Chinese coal terminal on Friday, despite a ban on importing DPRK coal that runs until January, analysis of vessel tracking data and satellite imagery shows. The small vessel arrived at China’s Penglai port early on Friday morning, its second trip to the port since December 17. The Nampho 9 is a relatively small cargo vessel, capable of carrying only 2200 tonnes of freight. It’s owned and managed by a Pyongyang based company called Korea Namsan Shipping.
