Evergreen Iraqi owned, North Korean flagged vessel arrives in the DPRKSmall cargo ship registered to a company in Basra, called in at Dalian before heading to North Korea A ship apparently owned by an Iraqi company arrived near North Korea’s West Sea Barrage on Monday, the NK News vessel tracker shows. The vessel’s ownership contrasts with the vast majority of ships calling into North Korea, which mainly list their addresses in Hong Kong, mainland China and the DPRK. But despite the ship owner’s address being registered as the Iraqi city of Basra, ship tracking site Marine Traffic says the vessel sails under a North Korean flag.
